MARMARIS SECOND-HAND AND ANTIQUE MARKET WELCOMES ENTHUSIASTS
Marmaris Hisarönü Neighborhood Head Office and the Hisarönü Village Solidarity Association have brought together antique enthusiasts from all over Türkiye with a second-hand and antique market organized as the tourism season comes to an end.

Held in Köşem Hisarönü, the market attracted visitors not only from Marmaris but also from Istanbul and Izmir. The event featured clothing, souvenirs, handmade accessories, and antique items — some of which are over a hundred years old.

The organizing committee, consisting of Hisarönü Neighborhood Headman Fatih Turgut, Hisarönü Village Solidarity Association President İbrahim Tok, and residents Hasan Yücel, Esin Erol, Ayşe Ergül, and Cecile Beal, stated that this was their first event of its kind and that it would now be held monthly.
“Our first market brought together 70 second-hand and antique vendors, contributing to both the local economy and community bonding. Many of us who live here but had never met before got to know each other through this event,” they said. Ata SEVGİ AjansCANKA
