      Arzu Kayaoğulları, a leading figure in Marmaris’ construction  industry and a renowned architect, is now making rapid strides in the maritime sector with international ambitions.

            Arzu Kayaoğulları, a leading figure in Marmaris’ construction  industry and a renowned architect, is now making rapid strides in the maritime sector with international ambitions.

 


           
               As Chairwoman of the Board of DSV Yachting, located in the Bozburun district of Marmaris, Kayaoğulları shared insights with AjansCANKA regarding the shipyard’s new era and forward - looking goals. Emphasizing an environmentally conscious approach, domestic production, and prioritization of female and youth employment, she stated:
            “We are ready to collaborate with maritime schools. We aim to train the shipbuilders of the future through hands - on, on - site education. Previously, we hosted one of the largest wooden yachts in the world at our facility. Currently, we are working on five different wooden yacht projects. With the 41.90 - meter Princess Maria and the 141 - meter Dream Symphony, we aim to become a global leader in wooden yacht manufacturing. To stay competitive in the global maritime industry, we are investing heavily in R&D and modernization.”

 

            FOCUS ON EDUCATION, WOMEN, AND YOUTH IN THE MARITIME INDUSTRY
 



            “Our shipyard is not merely a production site; it is a hub for employment, technological investment, environmental sustainability, and domestic innovation,” Kayaoğulları explained. “We are working on several new initiatives, ranging from special projects to increase female employment, to internship programs designed for young engineering students.
            Our ultimate goal is to enhance Turkey’s competitive edge in the maritime sector and to realize globally recognized, exemplary projects.
